Women in Ministry 2026

Tuesday 27th - Thursday 29th January 2026

Event Details

Calling women with a love for the Lord and His Word!
We would love you to join us at the next Women in Ministry conference, that will be focusing on the Wisdom Literature (part of the Writings) and the book of Proverbs, in particular. The conference is for women who are teaching the Bible regularly whether full-time, part-time or doing it all in their spare time.

Why focus on the Wisdom Literature?
Every year, we explore a different Biblical genre to help strengthen our understanding of Scripture and how to teach it. Last year, we delved into Old Testament Law, this year, we turn our attention to the Wisdom Literature - which is part of the Writings - to uncover its richness and relevance for us to today.

Why attend this conference?
Teaching the Wisdom Literature can be challenging. You may have studied Job and Ecclesiastes in small groups or one to one, but may not have ventured into the book of Proverbs. How do we teach it - as written or thematically? Is there an internal structure that unlocks the book as a whole? Theses are some of the issues we will be considering as we delve into this important but, sometimes, misunderstood book. Our prayer is that the Lord will speak to us through His Word, nourish our souls and equip us handle His word with wisdom and faithfulness.

What will you gain?
● In-depth Bible teaching: Encounter the Lord through the book of Proverbs with engaging talks from Matt Fuller (Christ Church, Mayfair) and Sophie Cornes (Christ Church, Southampton) who between them have 30+ years experience of local church ministry.
